INSTALL AND PLAY
- Open your Downloads folder. Right-click the zip and choose Extract All. Do not run the game from inside the zip.
- Open the extracted folder and run TerranRevengeDemo.exe. Keep it in that folder: it needs the .pck file beside it.
- Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". The game is not signed by a publisher yet, so Windows does not recognize it. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- When the game asks, paste your tester key. The first time needs an internet connection.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Your key works on 2 computers.
- The game plays offline for up to 14 days. After that it needs to go online once. Play data from offline play is sent the next time you are online.
- New builds come from this page, with the same key. Your progress is kept.
- Please do not share your key or the download. Each key is unique to the tester.
- These steps are also in README.txt inside the zip.
PLAY DATA
This test build sends play data to Angry Badger Studios while you play. It is part of the test and is required for the duration of your playtest.
WHAT IS SENT
- Your pilot nickname.
- When you play, and for how long.
- Your runs: which sector, how each ended, what you fought, found and collected.
- Settings you change. For key bindings, only that one changed.
- Performance: frame timing, graphics card, processor, screen size, Windows version and language.
WHAT IS NOT SENT
Your name, your email, files, screenshots, or anything from outside the game. We do not store your IP address.
PLAY DATA RETENTION
180 days. It is used only to improve the game and fix bugs. It is never sold or shared.
